| Mackays holiday cottage on the island of Tiree offers self catering accommodation in a renovated traditional Tiree black house. The cottage is one of four Tiree holiday cottages that are available for rent as self-catering accommodation on this website. The accommodation is situated at Balephuil Tiree and is amongst beautiful and unspoilt surroundings. The cottage offers accommodation for 5 to 6 persons. For larger groups Skerryvore Chalet next door can also be rented. | ||

Mackays Cottage living room has a comfortable and rustic feel. The rendered stone walls follow the contours of the stone and are painted white and the pine ceiling has open rafters. There is a leather 3 piece suite, a large screen smart TV, Sky free to view channels and dvd player . There is a bluetooth speaker. Heating is by efficient electric heaters and a very efficient multi fuel stove type room heater. | |

The kitchen is equipped with an oven with ceramic hob, a combination oven with grill and a microwave, toaster, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen and dining area and living room are all open plan. | |

The double bedroom has a double bed and a single in it. There are views out to sea through the velux window. |

Tiree is famous for its beaches and the one mile long sandy beach of Balephuil Bay is only a few minutes walk away . |
